Quicksilver Cruises:
For cancellations within 24hrs of travel may incur a cancellation fee up to 100% of the cost of the booking.
On rare occasions, services can be subject to the effect of weather or unforeseen circumstances. Should a cruise not operate for any reason passengers will be offered an alternative day of travel or a refund will be authorised. A change of travel date can be made to your booking without incurring any cancellation fee.
The minimum age for scuba diving is 12 years. Certain medical conditions and medications may preclude some people from diving.
Cruise Whitsundays:
Bookings cancelled within 24 hours of departure incur a 100% cancellation fee. No shows are charged 100% of the tour cost.
Cancellation 24 - 48 hrs prior to departure incurs a 50% cancellation fee.
Transfer to another Cruise Whitsundays cruise - no fee.
Rainforestation Nature Park:
For same day cancellations and no shows, our cancellation fee is as follows. Attractions – 50%. Meals – 100%
Swan Valley Tours:
Swan Valley Tours reserve the right to cancel tours due to insufficient passenger numbers. Swan Valley Tours shall not be liable for any injuries, illness, damage, loss or delay that may be caused to the passenger and/or their belongings whilst on tour. Full payment or credit card details are required to confirm a booking. Cancellation fee is 100% within 24 hours.
Sunlover Reef Cruises:
Cancellations:
Any bookings cancelled within 72 hours of departure will be subject to a cancellation charge at the tour operators discretion.
A 100% cancellation fee may be charged for FIT passengers cancelling within 24 hours of departure.
A 100% cancellation fee may be charged for groups (10 or more pax) cancelling within 72 hours of departure.
Captain Cook Cruises:
All cancellations are subject to an AUD$50.00 administration fee per person. Cancellation requests must be made in writing, and we strongly suggest the use of registered mail or fax. Cancellations received inside 60 days of sailing will be subject to cancellation charges at the following rates:
30-59 days; AUD$200.00 pp deposit.
within 15-29 days; 50% of fare.
14 days or less; 100% of fare.
no-shows at sailing; 100% of fare.
Cancellation fees, less the administration fee may be applied to another cruise if completed within 12 months of original booking.
Lets Go Surfing:
We surf in all weather and surf conditions providing it is safe. If the surf is too big, or the conditions unsafe, then we will reschedule the lesson. If you are unable to reschedule a lesson that we have cancelled then we can provide a refund. Otherwise there are no refunds, transfers (to other people), or cancellations. If you would like to reschedule a lesson you have booked, we need at least 24 hours notice. Failure to give the necessary notice will mean forfeiture of that lesson.
Sailaway:
Full refund only applies with 24 hours notice of date adjustment or cancellation.

Emu Run will charge the following fees upon cancellation:
Day Tours
4-30 days prior to departure – 50% cancellation fee on full cost of tour
Within 3 days of departure – 100% cancellation fee on full cost of tour
Camping Tours, Overnight Tours & Packages
8-30 days prior to departure – 50% cancellation fee on full cost of tour/package
Within 7 days of departure – 100% cancellation fee on full cost of tour/package
BOOKING AMENDMENTS
All booking amendments must be emailed to info@emurun.com.au
The following applies to changes to tour type or departure date of an existing booking:
8 days or more from departure – any difference in tour prices will apply
Within 7 days of departure – full cancellation fees and the full cost of the new tour will apply
If you fail to join a tour, join it after departure, or leave it prior to its completion, no refund will be given.

All bookings must be confirmed a minimum of 72 hours before departure by email or phone.

Day Tours
Travel voucher, water bottle (capacity 1.5-2 litres), strong non-slip walking shoes, hat (wide brimmed is best), flynet, sunglasses, sunscreen, camera, casual and comfortable clothing (cool, light clothing is best in summer and warm clothing for winter), travel pillow (longer day tours only), swim wear & towel (for tours to West MacDonnell Ranges, during summer only).
Camping Tours
Travel voucher, water bottle (capacity 3 litres), strong non-slip walking shoes, hat (wide brimmed is best), flynet, sunglasses, sunscreen, toiletries, torch (flash light), swim wear, towel, camera, casual and comfortable clothing (cool, light clothing is best in summer and warm clothing for winter), travel pillow, a small overnight bag (please leave your luggage at your Alice Springs accommodation due to space limitations on the bus).
2 Day Package
Travel voucher, water bottle (capacity 3 litres), strong non-slip walking shoes, hat (wide brimmed is best), flynet, sunglasses, sunscreen, camera, casual and comfortable clothing (cool, light clothing is best in summer and warm clothing for winter), travel pillow.
SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS & FOOD ALLERGIES
We provide healthy, quality meals on our tours. We are able to cater for one of the following special dietary requests upon request: vegetarian, gluten free or dairy free. If you have a food allergy (eg peanuts) please advise at the time of booking, and carry any necessary medication with you on tour.
AGE & FITNESS LEVEL REQUIREMENTS
For our camping tours, the minimum age is 8. All travellers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who will be responsible for their care. Any packages that include dorm accommodation are not available for children, however we can create a suitable package for families upon request. We have no upper age limit on our tours, although some trips can be physically demanding. For our camping tours, a real spirit of adventure and a medium level of fitness is required as the tours are fast paced. It is important to note that Central Australia experiences extreme weather conditions during summer. Participation is required from passengers on our camping tours for things such as meal preparation and firewood collection (as requested by guide).
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Emu Run recommends that all travellers take out travel insurance to protect you from costs of injury and cancellation fees.
PHOTOS & MARKETING
By booking our tours you consent to us using images of you that are taken on tour for any advertising or promotional purposes. You grant us permission to use these images royalty free for publicity and promotional purposes worldwide.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Emu Run Experience reserves the right to amend the itinerary of any of the tours and arrange alternative carriers to those advertised if necessary. No refunds will be given in these circumstances or in the event of any delay, curtailment or alteration of a trip resulting from any cause including severe weather conditions or mechanical failure. A minimum number of passengers is required to operate each tour. It may therefore be necessary to cancel a scheduled departure and to offer an alternative or full refund for that tour. We accept no responsibility for loss, stolen or damaged property and recommend that all passengers take out adequate travel insurance. Emu Run will accept no responsibility for any injury, illness or other such accident sustained whilst on tour. Any children travelling will be the responsibility of the parent or guardian. All passengers must wear shoes at all times, and be wearing hats and sunscreen.
DATA PRIVACY POLICY
Your privacy is important to us. Any personal information we collect about you may be used for any purpose associated with the operation of your tour and to send you marketing material in relation to special offers or events. Emu Run Experience may disclose information to our agents, suppliers or service providers to enable us to operate your tour. We will not sell, trade or otherwise transfer information you have supplied to us. We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information.
UPDATING THE CONDITIONS OF TRAVEL
Emu Run Experience reserves the right to update and/or alter the conditions of travel and fine print at any time. It is the agent and passengers responsibility to be familiar with the most up to date conditions of travel, which are available on our website.

Vagabond Cruises:
Minimum 14 days notice is required for a full refund to apply, there's no refunds for cancellations after this period, change of mind or no shows on the day of the cruise. Pre- Booking is essential.

Bunyip Adventure Tour:
Passenger cancellation/date change of any tour, in less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours prior to a departure time will result in a 50% refund of money paid. Cancellation within 24 hours of tour departure or failure to take up a booked tour will result in a 100% forfeiture of the tour fare. Please note also that a “cancellation” includes a change to the date of a tour booking that requires the original booking to be cancelled.
GBR Helicopters:
Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to flight to receive 100% refund. (Note: Bookings travelling from 5-17 February 2016 will require 7 days notice for cancellations, not 24hrs)
Minimum 2 passengers to confirm bookings.
Troll Tours- Sydney and Hunter Valley Tours:
TROLL TOURS HARLEY TRIKE AND MOTORBIKE TOURS:
Full refund if cancelled 48hrs before tour departure. If cancelled within 48hrs 25% will be kept as a booking fee.
TROLL TOURS:
TOUR CONDITIONS: “TROLL TOURS” reserve the right to alter or modify itinerary if prevailing weather, road conditions or adverse conditions require such change.
Go Ride a Wave:
Cancellation (within) between 48 hours – 7 days prior to lessons will result in a 25% cancellation fee.
Cancellation (within) less than 48 hours prior to program will result in a 100% cancellation fee.
A full refund will be given if lessons are cancelled due to weather/ surf conditions.
Whitsundays Sailing Adventures:
Prices are based on multi-share accommodation unless otherwise specified. Prices do not include airfares. Cancellations made less than 21 days before departure will result in complete forfeiture of full price. We reserve the right to substitute vessels without notice at any time for any reason. We recommend you take out travel insurance.
Clients should note that adventure travel involves risk. Whilst we make every effort to safeguard guests, we cannot be responsible for any damage, personal injury or loss due to the actions of passengers that are beyond our control. All cruises are subject to weather and the vessel operator’s discretion.
At certain times of year ‘dangerous’ jellyfish inhabit these waters and passengers should take care for their own safety. Passengers entering the water do so at their own risk and the owners or operators of the vessel will not be liable for any personal injury, illness, death or any other consequences whatsoever of passengers being stung by jellyfish. To minimise this risk you will be provided with a full length protective ‘Snorkel Suit’ to wear whilst swimming and snorkelling during the cruise.
Whitsundays Sailing Adventures.com and its related bodies corporate, its officers, employees and agents is not the owner or operator of any vessel on which passengers sail.
Accordingly, it shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any injury to person or property which is suffered or sustained by any passenger as a result of participating in any of its sailing adventures, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
Scenic Hinterland Day Tours:
Notice of 72 hours notice is required to receive any refund if YOU cancel your booking. Our company has the right to cancel bookings, substitute vehicle, alter itineraries, optional activities and prices without notice. Our company or any of their affiliates will not be responsible for any unforeseeable events or break downs which may effect or alter the contents of the tours described nor will they be responsible for any death, injuries or losses suffered while on board any of our vehicles or during transferring of passengers from vehicle to another vehicle, or during optional tour/s activities as you acknowledge that some of the activities have some risk/s factors. This company is not responsible for any goods left on the vehicles. Children 1-12 years must be accompanied by an adult. Under 1 years FREE. FREE TOUR OFFER: FREE tour is per person, not valid with any other discount and redeemable within 30 days from date of the 1st tour. Tours must be paid in full before the first day of travel.
Eco Safaris Queensland:
Cancellation Fee: Within 48 hours – 20% of fee, within 24 hours – 100% of fee PLUS any fee incurred by activities ESQ books with external companies.

Jump Tours charges fees for cancellation by the customer depending on the time left before departure:

Cancellations within 48 hours or failure to board on the day of tour, will result in 100% full fare forfeiture.
No changes can be made within 48 hours of departure; however, you can transfer your booking to another person, and we must be advised of the name change.
