Tour Description

In Springbrook National Park, you’ll visit caves where glow worms brighten the dark backdrop. Be amused and delighted at the nocturnal antics of our unique native wildlife, and visit the Goomoolahra Falls for some star-gazing.

We pick up adventure seeking travellers at 6:00 pm daily, from your Gold Coast accommodation, for a five-hour enchanting escapade headed for the pristine Springbrook National Park. While here, you will be treated to the beautiful sight of glow worms sparkling under an unbelievable cave that’s been skilfully carved and in the making for millions of years, and surrounded by star speckled blue/black water in a pristine hinterland setting.

The naturally formed caves accommodate a large colony of glow worms (larvae of the insect Arachnocampa flava) and will touch the heart of every onlooker, young or old, and invoke childhood memories of fairyland. The exquisite hanging, brightly shining lights cascade and twinkle in the moonlight like lights on a Christmas tree. Fully guided informative treks are hosted by our highly qualified eco-tour personnel, who take pride in showing off Australia’s loveliest World Heritage Listed National Parks – see this paradise as you have never seen it before.

Since time immemorial, humankind has been fascinated by the mysteries of our Solar System and its brightly lit twinkling stars. We spend time at the magnificent Goomoolahra Falls for an amazing star gazing experience. From here you can also check out the panoramic views of the iconic Gold Coast Skyline before our driver takes you back to the Gold Coast.

Personal torches are supplied for our enlightening rainforest walk. Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided. All national park fees are inclusive. Returning to the Gold Coast at 11pm, you’ll be dropped back at your original pickup point.
