Tour Description

As a private tour the itinerary and inclusions can be modified to suit your group.

These are all the possible sights to see on this tour. Please note however that because of weather or time you may not be able to visit all listed sights.

  • Worlds Biggest Rocking Horse (Gumaracha)

  • Whispering Wall (Williams Town)

  • Maggie Beers (Barossa Valley)

  • Menglers Hill (scenic look out over the Barossa Valley)

Suggested Wineries: (tasting fees may apply and can be paid on the day of the tour.)

  • Kersbrook HIll Wines & Cider

  • St Hallets

  • Langmeil Winery

  • Kellermeister Wines

  • TeAro Estate

  • Rusden Wines

  • Chateau Dorrien

  • Kies Family Wimes

  • Hermera Wines

Typically the day will start with a pick up from your accommodation in Adelaide, Glenelg or the Barossa itself - generally we suggest starting the day at 9am from Adelaide or a little later from the Barossa.  It is normally possible to fit in at least 2 of the sights listed above and up to 4 wineries.  Please let us know on the booking form what your preferred selections are.  You are also welcome to contact us on 07 4041 3244 to discuss ideas and plans.  We aim to return to your accommodation around 5 to 5.30pm.

Morning tea and lunch are not included in the price, however we can organise both for you. We recommend Kies Winery for lunch, however you may prefer Maggie Beers or the Tanunda Hotel, or we can organise to stop at a bakery.  Please let us know your preferences and we can provide a cost for you.

If you are happy to go with our recommendation of Kies Winery, lunch can be booked in advance by choosing it as an optional extra.  Lunch at Kies will be a choice of mains from the seasonal menu (special diets can be catered for). An example of meal choices available are:

  • Warm chicken salad

  • Spinach and fetta fillo

  • Gourmet steak sandwich

  • Salt and pepper squid

  • Antipasto platter

Please note that Kies is closed on Tuesdays, so lunch would be provided elsewhere if you wish to travel on this day. As mentioned, you are welcome to contact us on 07 4041 3244 to discuss your requirements in more detail.

Alternatively, please click here to ask us a question.
